Trailer 3 BTS

Hey gang! I always want something different for my videos because I find doing the same thing gets old quick. So for the third trailer, I wanted something a bit more normal and narrative. It was difficult to work during the COVID times but I really think we're past that (or very close to it) so I decided to do a clip with an actress.

The story is pretty simple and the idea will likely be re-used in future videos. Here we have a clairvoyant woman who lost the ability to see the future; she's lost all hope and is simply going through the motions. Her next customer however is not just an ordinary individual but Hyperion and he shows her a brighter future.

The shoot was not too challenging but it was hard on my body as I am so out of shape it's not even funny. For those who don't know, I've been battling various health issues these past few years. After an initial wobble things got better. As I'm also in it (albeit briefly), I had to worry about things not just as a director but also as actor at the same time.

These are BTS photos of the actress who goes by the name of Selenia. By the way, the video itself is almost done and will likely come out this weekend so stay tuned! Screenshots will be uploaded in the next update.

Me doing some camera work. The camera itself isn't too heavy but when you're completely out of shape it gets heavy fast!

This one was near the end, it's a shot for a poster. Selenia works part-time as model and it felt very natural.

This one is from the early stages. Basically, she's getting dressed for work and looks for something to wear in the closet. I am shooting from inside the closet, you can just barely see the edge of the light attached to the camera.
